Authorities responded swiftly to the incident. Following an appeal for information, the Peterlee Neighbourhood Police Team arrested two men. A 26-year-old is currently being charged with criminal damage, while a 23-year-old has been released under investigation. The quick arrests aimed to address the community's distress over the destruction.
