Model Arrested for Dog Park Headlock Assault

Male model Christian Hogue was recently arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault by strangulation following an incident at Shelby Dog Park in Nashville. The charges stem from an alleged physical altercation with another man after their dogs became aggressive.

According to prosecutors, Hogue purportedly grabbed the man from behind, threw him to the ground, and placed him in a headlock. While Hogue claimed the man punched his dog, the alleged victim stated he was only trying to restrain Hogue's dog from biting his own.

Witnesses reportedly corroborated the victim's account, observing Hogue apply the headlock. The victim experienced restricted breathing and decided to press charges. An arrest warrant was issued, and Hogue was taken into custody. He is reportedly due in court this Wednesday.
