Chittorgarh Police Arrest Two Key Suspects in Retired Officer's Son's Murder

On June 1st of this year, Ajayraj Singh, the son of a retired assistant sub-inspector, was gunned down while having dinner with companions at a hotel in Chittorgarh city. According to police, a group of 15 men in three cars descended on the hotel and opened fire indiscriminately, killing Singh and vandalizing two of his vehicles before setting them ablaze.
In a significant development, Chittorgarh police have now announced the arrest of the two main accused in this case. The first suspect, Ishwar Singh, was apprehended from the Hiran Magri area of Udaipur, while the second, Rajpal Singh, was also taken into custody. Both men had a reward of Rs 5,000 each on information leading to their arrest.
The arrests bring the total number of suspects held in this case to 19. Police revealed that Ishwar Singh was a frequent offender with a history sheet at the Gangrar police station in Chittorgarh. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are determined to bring all those responsible for this heinous crime to justice.
