Cheshire Police and Trading Standards officers have conducted a significant operation in Chester, targeting suspected illegal traders. Raids were executed on three stores and two residential properties, leading to the seizure of over 50,000 illicit cigarettes, a luxury Rolex watch, and three vehicles.
During the searches, conducted as part of Operation Dockyard, cash and a police-style baton were also discovered. Three men were arrested in connection with the findings. Two were taken into custody on suspicion of money laundering, while a third was detained for immigration offences. The two men arrested for money laundering have since been released on bail pending further investigation.
