Comedian Charleston White Arrested Again in Florida

Charleston White, a 49-year-old comedian and internet personality, was arrested on Saturday, September 12, 2026, by the Hollywood Police Department in Florida. He is currently being held in the Broward County Jail on a single misdemeanor battery charge. The specifics of the incident leading to his arrest have not yet been released, and a judge will review his case to determine bond. This arrest is not White's first encounter with law enforcement.

Previously, in October 2026, White was arrested in Texas on charges of animal cruelty and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He has also faced aggravated assault charges in February 2026 in the Fort Worth area. These incidents follow a history that dates back to his youth, including a murder conviction at age 14 for his involvement in a robbery. White has also publicly addressed FBI allegations of holding women hostage and possessing illegal weapons.

Despite his legal challenges, White has built a significant online following and has also founded a program aimed at redirecting young people from gangs and crime. He is scheduled to perform at Off the Hook Comedy Club in Naples on Wednesday, though it is currently unclear if this arrest will impact his upcoming shows.
