Dr. Lin, a father of six, was reportedly struggling with a crystal meth addiction, which family members linked to his wife's divorce filing after learning of a love-child. He was previously known for health advice to his 250,000 Instagram followers and authored 'The Dental Diet.' However, he had fallen from grace and was facing charges for apprehended violence order breaches, stalking, and intimidation. Just days prior, charges were dismissed concerning allegations of assault and theft from a sex worker in March 2025.
