- Ransom demand of Rs 10 crore issued after staged honey trap.

Four suspects were arrested on Thursday for the abduction of an elderly real estate businessman, Kailash Vijayvargiya, on December 12. The suspects trapped Vijayvargiya in a honey trap outside a Shiv temple before abducting him at gunpoint. He was taken to a dilapidated building where they assaulted him, fired shots, and recorded compromising videos.
The abductors demanded a ransom of Rs 10 crore within ten days, threatening to release the videos. However, police activated technical surveillance and deployed multiple teams. Under mounting pressure, the accused abandoned Vijayvargiya near Bopiya Stand on the same day he was kidnapped and fled.
The arrested suspects, identified as Vikka Gurjar, Dholaram Gurjar, Krishna Gurjar, and Shersingh Rajput, are all between 23 and 25 years old. This daylight abduction and ransom demand highlights a sophisticated criminal operation involving deceit and intimidation.
