Proj3kt Nightclub, located on Hammerton Street, received a closure order on Monday, which will keep it shut until March 22, 2026. This enforcement action was taken by Lancashire Police after extensive efforts to address ongoing disorder.
The closure was officially granted by magistrates under Section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Police Act 2014. Sergeant Stephen Dundon highlighted the collaborative effort with partners, emphasizing months of dedicated work to prevent such behaviour and safeguard the community.
