- She returned to the UK last Friday, almost a year after arrest.

Isabella Daggett, a 22-year-old British recruitment consultant, has returned to the UK after a year of detention in Dubai.
She was arrested in March of the previous year on alleged drug charges shortly after relocating for a new job. Her family consistently stated she was innocent and merely in the wrong company and circumstances.
Charges against Ms. Daggett were reportedly dropped in January. However, she was subsequently ordered to pay a fine of approximately £3,000 for overstaying her visa, an additional burden for her family.
Ms. Daggett, who also co-owned a modeling agency, has since reunited with her family in Britain, sharing joyous moments on social media while still wary of speaking publicly due to strict UAE laws.
Her mother had previously launched a GoFundMe to assist with legal and travel expenses, highlighting the difficult conditions Ms. Daggett faced in a Dubai detention center.
