A ride-share driver, aged 29, is facing multiple charges including rape and stalking, with police actively seeking more victims. Authorities allege the man stalked passengers on social media and at their residences between 2020 and 2025. The investigation intensified following a raid on his Brisbane home on November 17, 2026, where phones and a laptop were seized.
Police detailed several alleged incidents. In mid-2025, a 27-year-old woman reportedly used the driver's white Mercedes-Benz A45. He allegedly connected with her on social media, leading to a brief relationship. On July 20, 2025, he is accused of going to her house unannounced and sexually assaulting her. He allegedly returned on August 17, 2025, making threats before leaving.
Further allegations include an incident on November 1, 2024, involving a 21-year-old woman. The driver exchanged social media details and allegedly sent threatening messages. Another woman, who began a relationship with the man around November 2020, reported assault and phone misuse, with him allegedly appearing at her home when she didn't answer calls.
The man has been charged with rape, coercive control, threatening violence, misusing a telecommunications service, trespass, and three counts of stalking. Senior Sergeant Robert Lowry believes there are more victims and urged the community to report any similar experiences. The accused, described as 170cm tall with a tanned complexion and muscular build, is on strict bail conditions and due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 17, 2027.
