A manhunt is underway in Brisbane's north for a shirtless man accused of ramming a police car and fleeing the scene. Officers had been attempting to speak with another driver prior to the collision.
The suspect then fled on foot, leading police on a pursuit through school grounds and backyards before evading capture. Authorities confirmed on Sunday that the search, involving the dog squad and PolAir, is ongoing.
The white Kia Picanto has been seized for forensic examination. Police have issued a public warning, urging anyone who sees the man, described as wearing white shorts and no shirt, not to approach him but to contact police immediately. Information, CCTV, or dashcam footage is also requested.
