According to reports, Maria and her boyfriend, Gabryel Nascimento da Silva, encountered his ex-girlfriend outside the bar. An argument ensued, during which the ex-girlfriend allegedly used a knife to repeatedly stab Maria.
Gabryel was also injured when he attempted to intervene. A stranger transported both victims to a local hospital. Maria tragically passed away from her wounds, while Gabryel was treated and released. The alleged attacker, also injured, fled but was later apprehended.
