They are suspected of similar crimes totaling nearly Rs 500 crore from multiple victims. The court noted that one accused resided in Thane and could not claim ignorance of Marathi.
The bench questioned the focus on accused rights over victims' substantial losses, stating, "Judgment after judgment, we are only talking about the rights of the accused, isn't it? What about the rights of the victim who is duped of how many crores? Only Rs 58 crore."
