Bombay HC Grants Shetty Time to Address Family Travel Plans
14 Oct
Summary
- Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra seek to quash lookout notice
- Shetty wants to travel with child for a shoot, but not Kundra
- Prosecutor asked to provide details on Shetty's family members

On October 14, 2025, the Bombay High Court has granted Shilpa Shetty's lawyer time to take instructions on the details of her other family members as she seeks to travel abroad for a business trip. Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra had approached the court seeking to quash a lookout notice issued against them in an alleged Rs 60-crore fraud case.
During the hearing, Shetty's lawyer informed the court that she wanted to travel with one of her children for a shoot and had submitted an affidavit to that effect. However, when the lawyer clarified that only Shetty, and not the main accused Kundra, would be traveling, the Chief Justice quipped that Shetty may then become an approver in the case first.
The court, comprising Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam Ankhad, has now posted the matter for further hearing on October 16. The state prosecutor has been asked to take instructions on the details of Shetty's other family members as part of the proceedings.
