In a shocking development, an investigation by Mumbai Police's Anti-Narcotics Cell has revealed a major drug syndicate with ties to underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim. The probe has uncovered Bollywood connections to this illicit network, with the names of several celebrities surfacing during the inquiry.
According to confidential documents, multiple drug traffickers in custody have confessed to organizing drug parties linked to the syndicate. The key figure behind this operation is Salim Dola, a wanted drug lord who allegedly ran the network from Dubai. Dola's son, Taher, has been extradited from the UAE and has provided crucial information to the investigators.
The list of celebrities implicated in the case includes rapper Loka, actress Shraddha Kapoor, socialite Orry, and director duo Abbas-Mustan. Zeeshan Siddiqui, whose father Baba Siddique was shot dead in October 2024, has also been named.
The syndicate is believed to have supplied mephedrone (M-Cat or Meow Meow) to multiple Indian states and even smuggled the drug overseas. Taher Dola has claimed that Bollywood actors, models, rappers, filmmakers, and even Dawood's relatives attended the drug parties organized by the syndicate in India and abroad.
The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities have not ruled out questioning the celebrities named in the probe. The revelations have sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, raising concerns about the deep-rooted connections between Bollywood and the underworld.
