Summary
- Father died after his son attacked him with a bamboo stick and brick.
- The fatal assault occurred when the father intervened in son's thrashing.
- Financial constraints delayed critical medical diagnosis and treatment.

A tragic incident unfolded in Sanathi village, Muzaffarpur, where a 68-year-old man, Mahesh Sahni, was allegedly beaten to death by his son, Manoj Sahni. The violence erupted when Mahesh attempted to stop Manoj from severely beating his own son for not attending school.
Manoj reportedly became enraged when his father intervened and turned on him. He allegedly used a bamboo stick and later a brick to strike Mahesh, causing critical head injuries. The injured man was taken to Shri Krishna Medical College Hospital.
Sadly, the family's financial limitations prevented them from arranging a timely CT scan, a procedure recommended by doctors. This delay in diagnosis and treatment led to a deterioration of Mahesh Sahni's condition, and he passed away during medical care.
An FIR has been registered against the accused, Manoj Sahni, based on his mother's statement. The police reported that Manoj is currently absconding and efforts are underway to apprehend him.
