Bhilwara Accountant's Revenge: Scooted Off with Rs 4 Lakh!

In Bhilwara, authorities have arrested four men, notably a former accountant for a local gutkha trader, in connection with a brazen theft. The incident transpired on January 12 around 11 PM, when the trader was returning home after closing his shop. Unknown assailants on motorcycles reportedly attacked him, absconding with his scooter and Rs 4 lakh contained within.

Investigators formed a special police team to probe the crime, meticulously reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity. Based on the appearances of the perpetrators, Kana alias Kanhaiya Lal, Vikram alias Vicky, Raju, and Kishan were detained. During interrogation, the four confessed to their involvement in the heist.

Police revealed that the former accountant, having left his position just 45 days before the robbery, possessed intimate knowledge of the trader's income and usual travel path. This information is believed to have been crucial in orchestrating the crime. The arrested individuals are currently being interrogated, and efforts are underway to recover the looted sum.
