Summary
- Murder suspect Kadrise Patience escaped custody last month.
- Patience is wanted for a 2021 murder in Reading, PA.
- Authorities warn the public that Patience is armed and dangerous.
An intense manhunt is underway for Kadrise Patience, a 30-year-old man who escaped custody last month in Berks County. Patience is facing charges in connection with a 2021 murder that occurred in Reading.
Prosecutors allege that Patience and an accomplice entered a home to commit a robbery, resulting in the shooting death of the resident. While a co-defendant has already been convicted, charges against Patience were dismissed twice previously due to insufficient evidence before being reinstated by the District Attorney.
Authorities last spotted Patience in Norristown and believe he has connections throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. He is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is urged to contact Reading police immediately.
