A woman in Bengaluru has reported a beauty clinic found via Instagram to the police, claiming its products severely damaged her skin. The 27-year-old educator was drawn to the clinic's Instagram account, which promoted "guaranteed" solutions for acne and tanning.
She visited Glow Up Beauty Care Clinic on October 7, 2025, where she purchased four products for ₹17,000. Shortly after use, her skin reacted with severe itching and burning. Despite her concerns, the clinic advised her to continue using some products.
Returning to the clinic on November 21, 2025, the situation reportedly escalated. The woman alleges the clinic's owners verbally abused and threatened her, refusing any assistance or refund. She has accused the clinic of fraudulent advertising and endangering her health with unverified products.
