Vendor Falsely Accused of Causing Miscarriage, Held Captive

In Bommanahalli, a fruit juice vendor named Aakash faced a harrowing ordeal on December 27, 2025. He was approached by two men who falsely accused him of causing a miscarriage, claiming he had served the wrong juice to a pregnant woman. Despite Aakash's repeated assertions that he had only served mosambi juice as ordered, the men escalated the situation.

The agitated men forcibly took Aakash to a nearby house, where he was subjected to further verbal abuse and physical assault. They illegally confined him in a room, threatening his life. This ordeal lasted for several hours before he was finally released late in the afternoon.

Following his release, Aakash received medical attention at a local hospital. He subsequently filed a police complaint detailing the assault and illegal confinement. Authorities have registered a case and are actively pursuing the accused individuals.
