Three members of a family were discovered brutally murdered in their Sai Green Apartment home in Bengaluru on Monday. The victims, identified as Somasundar (55), his wife Muthulakshmi (48), and their younger daughter Supriya (20), were allegedly stabbed to death.
Authorities have identified the couple's elder daughter, Shwetha, and her boyfriend, Kenneth, as the prime suspects. The duo is reportedly in a live-in relationship and has since gone absconding. Preliminary investigations suggest the murders were motivated by the parents' strong opposition to Shwetha's relationship with Kenneth.
Further investigation is exploring a significant debt angle, with Shwetha allegedly owing nearly Rs 30 lakh. Tensions reportedly escalated as parents questioned her about the mounting debts.
