Rohan Chandra Bhat, 33, is accused of fatally stabbing his parents, Naveen Chandra Bhat, 60, and Shyamala Bhat, 55, at their Vignan Nagar residence. The incident occurred Wednesday morning following heated arguments. Neighbors alerted by the commotion rushed the couple to the hospital, where they were declared dead.
Police report that Rohan, who returned from the US three years ago, was seeking capital for his independent projects. His parents allegedly expressed their inability to financially support his ventures, leading to frequent disputes. Rohan had reportedly moved to a rented accommodation sometime prior, but visited the villa recently demanding money, which escalated into the fatal altercation.
