Depressed Artist Found Dead in Bengaluru Flat

A 22-year-old 3D artist, Anirudh Prashanth from Kasaragod, was found deceased in his Neeladrinagar, Electronics City apartment on Monday. He lived alone and had reportedly been suffering from depression. His colleagues became concerned when he failed to report to work on Saturday and did not respond to calls. They eventually gained access to his flat with the help of building security, where they discovered him hanging.
The deceased's father, Prashanth Kanathur, a journalist and filmmaker, has been informed. He arrived in Bengaluru and has since taken his son's body back to Kasaragod for cremation. Police stated that they would take a detailed statement from the family once the initial grieving period has passed.
