Exotic Animals Seized in Bangkok-Bengaluru Smuggling Plot

Customs authorities at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru have successfully thwarted an attempt to illegally import live exotic animals from Bangkok, Thailand. The operation, conducted on Friday, led to the interception of three passengers arriving on an IndiGo flight.
During a thorough baggage inspection, officials discovered a variety of live exotic animals, including squirrel monkeys, several types of iguanas, Abert's squirrels, Patagonian hares, and albino sugar gliders. Disturbingly, some of these animals were already deceased at the time of their discovery.
