An advocate named Adarsh Gangal reported being assaulted on Church Street in Bengaluru on the night of February 6. The incident began when Gangal objected to a man, believed to be a policeman in uniform, urinating in the driveway of his office building.
According to Gangal's complaint, the individual urinating was accompanied by two others consuming alcohol. When Gangal intervened, the officer allegedly abused him and attempted to take his mobile phone. The two accomplices then restrained Gangal, and one of them struck him in the face, breaking his spectacles.
Authorities are actively searching for the individuals involved. A senior police officer confirmed that the officer in question is not from the local Cubbon Park police station, adding that investigations are ongoing. Gangal has declined to comment further, citing the active investigation into the matter.
