In a co-ordinated effort, police seized around $42,000 worth of illicit nicotine products across the B.C. Interior communities of Nelson and Castlegar. These products must meet specific concentration requirements and can only be sold from behind a pharmacy counter. Furthermore, fruit and candy-flavored varieties are banned to discourage youth usage.
