Butt Lift Investigation Closed After Suspect Dies
24 Feb
Summary
- Criminal investigation into Alice Webb's death has closed.
- Suspect Jordan James Parke, arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, has died.
- Inquests into both deaths will proceed to seek answers for the family.

The criminal investigation into the death of Alice Webb, a mother-of-five who died after a non-surgical Brazilian butt lift, has concluded. Gloucestershire Police announced the closure following the recent death of a suspect, Jordan James Parke, aged 34, who had been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with Webb's passing.
Webb, 33, fell ill after undergoing the cosmetic procedure and passed away on September 24, 2024. Parke, known as the 'British Lip King', was arrested in October 2024 but had not been charged, having been released on police bail. He reportedly died on Wednesday in London, with the Metropolitan Police also investigating his 'unexplained' death.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed that no charges can now be brought against Parke. The family of Alice Webb has been updated, and the force expressed hope that the upcoming inquests will provide the answers they deserve regarding her death.
Non-surgical Brazilian butt lifts involve injecting dermal filler into the buttocks to enhance their shape. A separate arrest was made in relation to Webb's death, but that individual was released without further action. Inquests for both Webb and Parke are expected to be held.
