A fatal SUV accident near Pardholi in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, has uncovered a kidnapping plot and resulted in the rescue of two children. The incident occurred when an SUV lost control and crashed into a roadside tanker, with a motorcycle subsequently colliding with the SUV. Five individuals died in the crash, while two children, aged six and three, sustained fractures and survived.
Initial police assessments treated the event as a routine highway accident. However, the presence of the children within the SUV prompted further investigation. Officers discovered suspicious photographs on mobile phones and identified individuals in the SUV with prior criminal records. Questioning revealed that the children and their father had been kidnapped from Gurugram, Haryana, on the night of April 4th.
Investigators successfully located the abducted father in Faridpur, Bareilly, following statements from the rescued children. One of the deceased in the SUV is believed to be a relative who allegedly orchestrated the kidnapping. The father of another deceased individual has been arrested for his role in confining the victims, with multiple criminal cases already registered against him. Authorities suspect a family dispute may be the motive behind the abduction.
