A former Goldman Sachs banker, who pleaded guilty in 2018 to stealing millions from the Malaysian government, has initiated divorce proceedings. The banker signed the necessary paperwork on February 4, mere days before commencing a two-year prison sentence on February 6 at a federal correctional facility in Pennsylvania.
The divorce petition, filed on April 20, cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation after 12 years of marriage to the Baby Phat founder. The couple share an 11-year-old son.
In his filing, the former banker is seeking joint custody of their son. Additionally, he has requested spousal support from his wife and asked the court to terminate her eligibility to receive alimony.
