Syreeta Chase, a Baltimore mother, is advocating for justice following the tragic death of her daughter, India Thomas, aged 27. Thomas had traveled to Houston, Texas, in February with her boyfriend, Darrell Hall, 25, for a birthday celebration that was planned to extend to Miami.
Chase recounts having a premonition about the trip and expressing concerns to her daughter. She last communicated with Thomas around 11 p.m. on Friday, February 27, after which all contact ceased.
Houston police discovered Thomas and Hall deceased the following day, February 28, on Radio Road. Hall's body was found in the roadway, while Thomas was located in a nearby ditch. Both victims had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities have not yet named any suspects in the case. Chase suspects that the couple may have been targeted by individuals they knew, expressing a strong desire for accountability for the crime.
