Tragedy struck a wedding celebration in Ballari on the night of July 16, with 21-year-old Nabi Rasool being fatally stabbed. The incident occurred during a party organized by the groom for his friends following his recent wedding.
An altercation reportedly broke out between Nabi Rasool and a juvenile suspect amidst drinking. This verbal dispute escalated rapidly, leading to the juvenile allegedly stabbing the groom, resulting in his death. The Cowl Bazaar police station registered a case the following day and initiated an immediate investigation.
Authorities have identified a juvenile as the prime suspect. Three individuals, identified as Tahir alias Heena, Sameer, and a juvenile, have been apprehended in connection with the murder. The police are actively searching for a fourth suspect, Salman, who remains at large.
The swift resolution of this sensational case is credited to a dedicated police team, led by DSP Govind Raju V and Inspector GR Shanmukhappa. This team successfully cracked the case, leading to the arrests.
