Australians Jailed 32 Years for Bali Murder
9 Mar
Summary
- Two Australians received 16-year sentences each in Bali.
- They confessed to killing a Melbourne gangland figure.
- The motive for the crime was reportedly to collect a debt.

Two Australians, Mevlut Coskun and Paea I Middlemore Tupou, have each been sentenced to 16 years in Indonesian jail for their roles in a fatal attack. The court found them guilty of the premeditated murder of Zivan Radmanovic and the injury of Sanar Ghanim. The incident occurred on June 14, 2025.
Coskun, 22, and Tupou, 27, pleaded guilty to assassinating Radmanovic and injuring Ghanim, both men linked to Melbourne's underworld. Prosecutors detailed that Ghanim was shot multiple times while Radmanovic was beaten with a sledgehammer before being fatally shot.
The pair claimed they were hired by an Australian man to collect a debt. They were accused of breaking into a villa in Munggu, where Radmanovic's wife was celebrating her birthday, and attacking the victims under the cover of darkness.
Presiding judge Wayan Suarta stated the crime was well-planned and motivated by money. He also noted the defendants' attempt to flee the country. Despite the prosecution's request, the 16-year sentences were deemed lighter, avoiding the death penalty as the worst-case scenario.
Darcy Francesco Jenson, 27, is facing a separate trial, accused of organizing the trip's logistics. All three men were arrested shortly after the alleged shooting as they attempted to leave the country.
