Summary
- A 52-year-old man received an eight-year prison sentence.
- He pleaded guilty to drug distribution and illegal firearm possession.
- Police found significant quantities of cocaine, heroin, and meth.

An Atlantic City resident, Christian Parcaro, 52, has been sentenced to eight years in New Jersey State Prison. This sentence follows his guilty plea to charges of possession with intent to distribute narcotics and illegal firearm possession. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's office announced the sentencing on July 17, 2026. Parcaro initially pleaded guilty in April 2026. A plea agreement stipulated that he could receive a harsher sentence if he failed to appear for his sentencing, which he did, missing his original August 2026 date.
Atlantic City Police Department officers first encountered Parcaro in November 2025 on South Florida Avenue, observing him weighing cocaine. At that time, he was found possessing a significant quantity of cocaine and a handgun. Due to previous criminal convictions, Parcaro was legally barred from possessing any weapons. An investigation at his residence on St. James Place uncovered further narcotics, totaling 41 grams of cocaine, 18 grams of heroin, and 27 grams of methamphetamine.
