Atlanta Police Department is seeking to interview an individual regarding the murder of Antonio Brown, 28, who was fatally shot on Saturday, April 11, at approximately 8:25 p.m. The shooting occurred outside a home on Desoto Ave. SW, near Perkerson Park.
Surveillance footage shows a man in the vicinity around the time of the incident, wearing various clothing including a white shirt and black pants, or carrying a black t-shirt and a black backpack. Detectives distributed flyers with the person's photo at a vigil for Brown on Tuesday night, offering a $5,000 reward for information.
Brown's family described him as a talented singer with a bright future, who was not involved in drugs or gangs. He was reportedly selling homemade shirts and hoodies as a side business at the time of his death. Police are also interested in information about a gathering at Perkerson Park between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the night of the murder.
