13 May
Summary
- Two men arrested on suspicion of assault and ill-treatment.
- The investigation is ongoing at Acacia Hall residential facility.
- The facility's residential license was suspended in April.

Authorities have arrested two men in relation to alleged assault and neglect at a residential facility catering to young people with special educational needs. The individuals, aged 34 and 41, were taken into custody for questioning on suspicion of common assault and wilfully neglecting residents at Acacia Hall, located in Friesthorpe.
Lincolnshire Police confirmed the men have been released on bail. The force is cooperating with local authorities as the investigation proceeds. This development follows a prior action in April, when Ofsted suspended the residential license for Acacia Hall.
The facility provides care and education for individuals aged 14 to 20 who have autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. The Kisimul Group, which operates Acacia Hall and the nearby Acacia School, has been contacted for comment.
