Army Gynecologist Accused of Secretly Filming Patients

According to a lawsuit filed on November 11, 2025, an Army gynecologist at Fort Hood in Texas, Dr. Blaine McGraw, has been secretly recording intimate videos of his patients without their knowledge or consent. The lawsuit alleges that McGraw has been preying on scores of women for years, with the Army leadership allowing him to continue practicing despite receiving prior complaints about his sexual misconduct.

Investigators have recovered thousands of photographs and videos from McGraw's electronic devices, depicting numerous female patients, many of whom remain unidentified. One of the victims, a military spouse who filed the lawsuit under the name Jane Doe, was informed by Army criminal investigators last month that McGraw had secretly filmed nearly the entirety of her final appointment, including both breast and pelvic examinations.

The lawsuit accuses McGraw of various forms of misconduct, including inappropriate touching, crude remarks, and performing unnecessary procedures. It also claims that prior to his posting at Fort Hood, McGraw faced similar allegations while practicing at a military hospital in Hawaii, but his superiors dismissed the complaint and allowed him to continue seeing patients.

The Army has launched a criminal investigation into McGraw's actions and is contacting all of his former patients to provide support and answer any questions. However, the victim in this case says the breach of trust has left her feeling "violated, exposed and afraid," and she is seeking accountability not only from the doctor but also from the Army itself.
