According to court documents, Turk claimed he used a hammer and a knife because he was angry about being put on medication. Responding officers found blood splattered throughout the residence. Investigators noted that both parents had previously completed multiple mental health petitions for their son and expressed concerns about his mental stability.
Turk was arrested at the scene and booked into Maricopa County Jail. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder.
