Argentine Singer Fede Dorcaz Tragically Killed in Mexico City

On October 9th, 2025, Argentine singer and actor Fede Dorcaz was fatally shot in Mexico City. The 29-year-old, who was set to appear on the upcoming season of the popular Mexican dance competition show "Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy," was attacked shortly after leaving a dance rehearsal and was reportedly on his way home when the incident occurred.

Authorities believe Dorcaz's death was the result of an attempted robbery. According to the Mexico City Secretariat of Public Safety, he was shot in the neck while attempting to exit a road and died instantly at the scene. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage and have identified four male suspects seen fleeing the scene on motorcycles, though no arrests have been reported.

Born and raised in Argentina, Dorcaz had moved to Spain with his family at the age of 13. He began his career in modeling before transitioning into Latin pop music, releasing tracks such as "No Eres Tú" and "Cara Bonita." His debut album, "Instinto," arrived in 2024, and Dorcaz had expressed a desire to be "more than just a musician" and to "inspire others to chase their dreams."
