20 Jun
Summary
- Renter denies reaching settlement with Anne Heche's son.
- She demands a full accounting of the estate's finances.
- Claims against the estate total over $4 million.

Lynne Mishele, who was living in the Los Angeles home destroyed by Anne Heche's car in August 2022, has reportedly denied reaching a settlement with Heche's son, Homer Lafoon. Mishele claims she needs a full accounting of Anne Heche's estate before agreeing to any deal, stating she has not received this information despite the nearly four years since Heche's passing.
Lafoon, administrator of Heche's estate, had sought six months to finalize matters, indicating a tentative agreement was reached, subject to court approval. The estate faces creditor claims totaling over $4 million from homeowners and Mishele for damages and emotional distress. An additional claim of $157,000 was filed by Heche's ex, Thomas Jane.
Heche's estate is reported to be insolvent, with modest assets valued at approximately $200,000. Lafoon and his half-brother, Atlas Tupper, are the sole beneficiaries. Lafoon was granted control of the estate after a dispute with Tupper's father, James Tupper, who had contested his role as administrator.
