Dennis Stephen Ramsey, 70, has received a 10-year ban from owning animals following the tragic death of his dog, Ruby. The Dogue de Bordeaux was found in a critical state, significantly emaciated and suffering from severe skin disease and open sores.
Ruby was taken to an RSPCA clinic in February of last year, where a vet determined she needed to be euthanized due to her deteriorating condition. She was found to be nearly half the weight of a healthy dog of her breed and struggling to breathe.
