- Indictment adds witness intimidation and murder charges
- Alleged intimidation occurred between wife's death and arrest

A man from Tipp City, Ohio, previously arrested in connection with his wife Ashley's death, has been formally indicted with expanded charges. The indictment, filed on March 18, includes aggravated murder, multiple murder counts, felonious assault, tampering with evidence, and witness intimidation.
These new charges allege that the suspect attempted to intimidate witnesses between February 16, the day Ashley was found deceased, and February 19, his arrest date. Authorities have not specified the number of witnesses allegedly intimidated or their identities.
The suspect, who competed on American Idol in 2013, pleaded not guilty to all charges during an arraignment on March 19. He and Ashley shared two daughters who were reportedly home at the time of the incident.
Ashley's family expressed their grief and stated their belief that the arrest was made carefully and that the legal process is being handled appropriately. Body camera footage released earlier showed the suspect's emotional reaction upon being informed of his wife's death.
