In a shocking broad daylight robbery, three armed miscreants looted gold and silver worth approximately Rs 40 lakh from a jewelry shop in Alwar city. The incident unfolded near Telco Chowraha, with the perpetrators employing firearms and a sickle to intimidate the shop owner and customers. One robber held a sickle to the jeweler's neck, while another emptied the safe, and a third brandished a pistol at onlookers.
The swift operation, lasting just about three minutes, saw the criminals abscond with 350 grams of gold and 2 kilograms of silver. The victim, jeweler Mohanlal Soni, sustained minor injuries during the ordeal. Eyewitnesses reported hearing calls for help from inside the shop before being warned off by the armed suspect stationed at the gate.
Alwar police have registered a case and are actively pursuing the suspects. Based on the available CCTV footage, multiple investigation teams have been formed to identify and arrest the three robbers involved in this audacious daylight crime.
