Robber Claims £1.1M Raid Was 'Consented' Job

During the robbery at 247 Kettles on Kew Road, the defendant alleged he "hesitated" when his associate, Kyle Mehmet, restrained the salesman, Oliver White. He testified that Mehmet told him to "stick to the plan," which he interpreted as confirmation that the heist was staged. He stated he expected to be paid and taken home afterwards.
Tragically, Mr. White, the salesman, died by suicide the day after the robbery, after reportedly facing questions from his employers. The defendant expressed profound shock and confusion upon hearing of Mr. White's death, stating he had forgotten about the money and only wanted to distance himself from the situation.
