Alcoholic Father's Suicide Leaves Family Devastated in Kanpur Village

In a tragic incident that occurred on Wednesday night in Motipur village of Kanpur's Maharajpur police station area, a 40-year-old man named Babu Singh, also known as Babbu, took his own life by hanging himself.
According to the police, Babbu had locked himself in a room after dinner, and his body was discovered the following morning by his family members, who had been unable to open the door. The police were alerted, and they forced open the door to find Babbu's lifeless body, which was then sent for a postmortem examination.
Babbu's son Karan revealed that his father had frequent disputes with his mother, Seema, due to his alcohol addiction. Seema had gone to her sister's home two days ago with their children, Arjun and Shivani, when the tragic incident occurred.
Maharajpur Inspector Sanjay Kumar Pandey stated that Babbu's addiction to intoxication appears to be the primary reason behind his decision to end his life, following a dispute with his wife over the same issue.
