In Karnataka, a live-in relationship turned deadly, leading to the arrest of television supporting actress Urmila alias Bindu and two young men. The victim, 40-year-old Mohan Rao, was discovered deceased on February 18 in Manjunathanagar.
Bindu and Mohan Rao were reportedly in a live-in relationship after separating from their respective spouses. Investigators believe their domestic arrangement escalated into violence.
On the night of the incident, Bindu, along with Dhanush and Vinay, allegedly partied with Mohan Rao. A dispute arose during the gathering, allegedly fueled by alcohol, leading to a heated argument.
During the altercation, Vinay is accused of stabbing Mohan Rao. Following the stabbing, the group allegedly taped Mohan Rao's mouth and nose, and tied his limbs, leading to his death by suffocation, according to investigators.
Bindu, Dhanush, and Vinay have been taken into custody. Police are continuing their interrogation to establish the exact motive and reconstruct the events leading to the fatal outcome.
