A special fast track court in Thiruvananthapuram has sentenced a 65-year-old man to seven years of rigorous imprisonment. The conviction is for the sexual assault of a 15-year-old boy, which took place on April 8, 2025. The court also took into account the man's previous conviction in May 2012 for raping a woman with learning disabilities.
During the recent incident, the accused, known to the boy, called him over while he was walking alone. The man then sexually assaulted the boy and threatened him into silence.
