The Telangana police are actively engaging in efforts to persuade CPI (Maoist) general secretary Thippiri Tirupathi, alias Devji, to also surrender, emphasizing a strategic approach to dismantling the organization.
Telangana police have committed to providing protection and rehabilitation facilities for all surrendered cadres, aligning with government policies. This initiative is a response to broader calls for peace and is part of an ongoing effort that has seen 465 Naxals surrender in the past eleven months, including senior central and state committee members.
