Indo-Nepal Border Bust: 327kg Marijuana Seized!

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) apprehended an individual on Sunday morning near the Indo-Nepal border in Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj district. The operation led to the seizure of more than 327 kilograms of marijuana, valued at over Rs 20 crore. Officials reported that the arrested man, identified as Ranjeet Giri from Bihar, had allegedly procured the contraband from Nepal.
Giri was intercepted while transporting the drugs in a truck and is suspected of being part of a larger drug supply network in the region. Another associate managed to evade capture during the SSB operation. The accused has been handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau for further interrogation.
