DEA Atlanta investigators were monitoring Ortiz-Osornio on April 3 when Gwinnett County Sheriff's deputies conducted a separate traffic stop. A drug dog alerted deputies to a pickup truck, where they discovered approximately 66 pounds of meth hidden in black totes.
