Yavapai County Sheriff's Office deputies apprehended two individuals suspected in a large-scale diesel fuel theft. The incident occurred on May 22, when multiple gas stations in Seligman reported a substantial loss of over 2,000 gallons of diesel. A deputy located a U-Haul truck with leaking fuel, leading to the arrest of Dachel Roberto Michel Campos, 37, and Jesus Daniel Rodriguez Yordy, 23, both from Las Vegas.
Further investigation of a nearby hotel room revealed a credit card skimmer, multiple stolen credit cards, and tools used in burglaries. While the stolen fuel has been recovered, authorities are still seeking a third suspect who fled in a black Ford F-650 flatbed truck before law enforcement arrived. Information regarding this suspect is being sought by the Sheriff's Office.
